Sindusahi Village

Blessing Well

Honoring Steven Murphy Siemens

The Village of Sindusahi has been blessed with a clean water well honoring Steven Murphy Siemens. For generations, the people of Sindusahi were forced to drink from a fast-flowing, contaminated river. This same river was used for drinking, bathing, cooking, and washing, while buffalo and cows also bathed in the water. Tragically, some villagers were swept away by the powerful current and lost their lives simply trying to access water. The toll of this unsafe water was visible in every face. Though many villagers were only in their 40s, their bodies appeared decades older—worn down by years of illness and hardship caused by contaminated water. Today, everything has changed. Because of the generosity and compassion of our donors, Sindusahi now has access to clean, living water. This Blessing Well has restored health, dignity, and safety to the village. Children can drink without fear. Families can cook and bathe in peace. Lives once at risk are now protected. Thank you for blessing the Village of Sindusahi with this sacred gift of water in honor of Steven Murphy Siemens. Through this well, many lives have been changed—and many lives have been saved.

"In Memory of Steven Murphy Siemens - With deep respect for a Life guided by integrity, wisdom and service and deep love for his family Hannah, Mike and Gracie. May this water flow as a tribute to his dynamic spirit"
