Baghpani Village

Blessing Well

Donated by Jan Green, Fran and Family

Baghpani Village sits high in the hills, surrounded by dense jungle. The homes are scattered across the mountainside, and for generations, life here has been marked by danger. Before the Blessing Well was built, villagers had to walk deep into the forest to collect water from a mountain stream. The water was contaminated — people washed buffaloes and clothes upstream, and all the soap and waste flowed down into the same water the villagers had no choice but to drink. Many became sick. Some lost their eyesight. Many died. And the jungle brought another constant fear — tiger attacks. When a tiger appeared, the villagers would rush into the forest to try to protect one another. Some never came back. Today is a heavy day for the village. A life was lost while gathering firewood in the jungle. The fear is real. The risks are real. But because of the Blessing Well dedicated by Jan Fran and Family, one daily danger has been removed. No one has to walk into the jungle for water anymore. No one has to drink contaminated stream water. A major source of risk has been lifted. What Jan Fran and Family have given this village is not just water — it is safety, health, and stability. In a place surrounded by wilderness and uncertainty, this well stands as a source of life and protection. To Jan Fran and Family: Your generosity has changed the daily reality of this village. You have reduced danger. You have brought clean, living water. You have given peace where there was constant worry. The jungle may still surround them — but now, in the center of their village, there is a source of life. This is the Butterfly Effect. 🦋

💧 One well. A powerful shift toward safety and light.

"Water is a Divine gift, let’s enjoy it and be safe."
