In loving memory of her beloved husband, Rev. Dr. Tom Sanner, Rev. Gisela Sanner has given the gift of life to an entire village.

In Purusti Village, Odisha, India, families once depended on a single, contaminated pond for survival — water shared for bathing, washing clothes, and even by their buffalo. For generations, there was no alternative.

The water carried disease.
Children fell ill.
Lives were lost.

And still… they had no other choice.

But love changed everything.

Today, clean, living water flows through the heart of Purusti Village — because of one profound act of love and remembrance.

At this Blessing Well, a sacred inscription reads:

“In Loving Memory of my beloved husband, Rev. Dr. Tom Sanner. May all who drink from this well be nourished and blessed by his enduring legacy of light, wisdom, and love.”

With every drop drawn, his legacy lives on —
in the laughter of children now growing strong and healthy…
in the peace of mothers who no longer fear for their families…
in the renewed vitality of a village once burdened by suffering.

This is more than water.

This is healing.
This is dignity restored.
This is transformation.

On inauguration day, the village gathered in joyful celebration — dressed in their finest, hearts overflowing with gratitude. A coconut was ceremonially broken, its water poured as a sacred symbol of new beginnings, of life renewed, of blessings flowing freely.

Their prayers have been answered.

Rev. Gisela, through your love, Dr. Tom’s light now flows endlessly in Purusti Village — a living legacy that will bless generations to come.
