Eloia Healing Arts; A Sound Bath to Save Lives
On October 10, 2025, Eloia Healing Arts: Temecula Reiki and Sound Therapy is offering a “Healing Waters Sound Bath”—a sacred evening of sound, vibration, and intention to raise funds for a Blessing Well in Odisha, India.
Lori Torok, owner of Eloia Healing Arts, and her family was inspired to donate a Blessing Well honoring their Ancestors.. Now she is inspire to fund raise a Blessing Well with her compassionate community. When I spoke with our field director in India, Thabir, on WhatsApp to learn more about Polotapara Village, I was overwhelmed by the story he shared.
This village has endured unimaginable hardship.
They had attempted to drill three times for clean water—each attempt failed. Normally, drilling teams move on after the second failure, assuming the land cannot sustain a well. But something in their hearts urged them to try once more. The life stories of the villagers were so tragic, so filled with desperation, that the team chose to drill again—this time farther away, in a place where the water could be shared between two villages.
Until now, the women of the village were forced to fetch water from a mountainside. A shallow stream had carved a small canal that appeared clean, but was infested with poisonous bugs invisible to the naked eye.
During the heavy monsoon season, the terrain became dangerously slick.
Pregnant women would slip and fall. Some would lose their babies on impact. Others, who unknowingly drank the contaminated water, would lose their unborn child days later, enduring the horror of carrying death within them without access to medical care. The symptoms—violent vomiting and diarrhea—would last for days, ending in silence. A painful, slow death.
This village was desperate for clean water, for safety, for life.
I feel deeply privileged to have grown up in a home with clean water, food, and protection. And I feel honored to witness this moment of transformation for Polotapara—a village now on the edge of hope.
This Sound Bath Fundraiser will save lives. It will protect mothers. It will nourish children. It will restore dignity to a village long forgotten.
